Stars

I hunt and gather, Nature is my god
I worship the sun, with prayer and song
But even the sun, must set and fall
Then your sparkle captures me, I hear your call

I build cities, and temples to the sun
Map the sky, name constellations
Create mythlogy, to explain it all
But your mystery still captures me, I hear your call

I use reason to explain, celestial mysteries
Math and science, bring powerful clarity
But when night comes, I know that can't be all
Your beauty captures me, I hear your call

On this terraformed world, here I stand
Throughout the galaxy we've spread, the seed of Man
I wait for these double suns, to set and fall
And with your glory before me, still hear your call
